Duramed Pharmaceuticals, an innovator in women’s healthcare pharmaceutical products, focuses its product development and marketing activities on products for women. Duramed’s products are marketed by approximately 350 sales representatives. These products include the SEASONIQUE® extended-cycle oral contraceptive, which represents the next generation of extended-cycle oral contraceptives in a category the Company created with the launch of the SEASONALE® extended-cycle oral contraceptive in 2003. This team also markets the ENJUVIA™ estrogen therapy product, and the Plan B® emergency contraceptive product. In addition, Duramed’s sales force promotes the ParaGard® IUD non-hormonal contraceptive option, Mircette® oral contraceptive, and Niaspan® and Advicor® cholesterol treatments to obstetricians, gynecologists and other practitioners with a focus on women’s healthcare.

 

Duramed focuses on providing patients with an array of women’s healthcare products, with particular emphasis on developing and marketing products that serve the reproductive and menopausal needs of women.
